Can’t our estimator or M&E manager do this?
Often they can. The service is useful when time is constrained, the pack is disorganised or an independent structured pass will help the team focus on pricing and strategy.
Is this just AI-generated?
No. AI may assist internal document processing, but every client-facing technical statement and source reference is manually checked.
Does this replace our consultant?
No. The service does not provide design, certification, approval or a substitute for appointed designers and consultants.
How is confidential information handled?
Files are accepted only after scope, conflict and data-route checks. Approved secure transfer, named access, controlled storage and an agreed retention/deletion rule are used.
Can you work under an NDA?
Yes, subject to review and agreement of the terms.
Can you review drawings as well as specifications?
Yes, where the drawing scope, volume and review purpose are expressly agreed.
What happens if the tender pack changes?
New revisions and addenda are registered. Their effect is assessed under the included revision allowance or quoted as a controlled change.
How are large tender packs priced?
After an initial volume and complexity check. The quote caps files, pages, drawings or packages and identifies sampling assumptions.
How quickly can a review be turned around?
Turnaround depends on scope and current capacity. Urgent work may carry a 30% uplift but is not accepted if adequate source checking cannot be protected.
Who is responsible for checking the output?
PreconTrace checks its review against the agreed sources. The responsible project designers, consultants, contractors and client parties remain responsible for design, compliance and project decisions.
